Connection Services is a specialist in the delivery of services which are location aware.

This term includes:

• The storage and provision of location data such as the location of venues or "hotspots" where WiFi access can be obtained
• The search and display of such information via the web in a number of text and graphical formats to enable service end-users to find points of interest 
• The use of innovative techniques to extract relevant information from the underlying networks and devices so that the services we deliver can be made aware of who and where the end user of the service is located and what device they are using
• Based on that awareness, the dynamic tailoring of the content delivered to each user. This enables, for example, targeted advertising or information to be presented which can be beneficial both to the end user themselves, and to the organisation delivering the content.

We are the market leader in the provision of web based hotspot directory services for the Wi-Fi industry.

Our customers in this segment include BT, Orange France Telecom Group, O2 Telefonica and T-Mobile. We are also the provider of choice for the Wireless Broadband Alliance. Connection Services manages the hotspot data of over 50 Wi-Fi providers and over 200,000 hotspots worldwide and makes this information available in a variety of media.

We continue to invest in the latest available technologies and by doing so push the boundaries of database driven mobile web based services to provide customers and end users with content they want, when they want it.  Our rendering technology, for example, ensures that location data for points of interest such as hotspots, retail outlets, hotels and restaurants, etc. can be overlaid onto map displays with the fastest response times, even over relatively slow 3G connections and to smartphone devices.
